Creating art has been a great blessing throughout my life. Around age 13, I was very fortunate to apprentice under a local artist. Around 14, my family became disciples of Paramahansa Yogananda and my community sponsored me to go to California and spend the summers staying at many of Yogananda's ashrams.
During my travels, many people showed me great kindness and hospitality. I made this painting as a way to give something back in gratitude for all the blessings I received.
